Night Owl Pictures is a next-generation, artist-centered production company founded by award-winning executive producer Igal Svet. Built to create premium, conversation-driving documentary series, Night Owl specializes in bold access, cultural relevance, and stories designed to break through the noise. Its breakout series Born to Be Viral: The Real Lives of Kidfluencers premiered on Hulu and Freeform in 2025, following five years of unprecedented access to some of the most influential families on YouTube. Led by Svet, Night Owl Pictures draws on deep relationships with top filmmakers, talent, and distributors, alongside a proven track record of delivering premium nonfiction at scale.
Prior to launching Night Owl, Svet held senior leadership roles at National Geographic, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Lionsgate, where he helped shape and oversee some of the most successful and culturally resonant documentary slates in the industry. His credits include Tony Shalhoub Breaking Bread, Death in Apartment 603: What Happened to Ellen Greenberg?, Shaun White: The Last Run, Introducing Selma Blair, and The Truth About Jim, among others, combining cinematic ambition with commercial impact.
